The Presidential Abomination: President Bush Rededicates Islamic Center In Washington D.C.

In one of the great moral failures and political abominations in United States history, President Bush rededicated a radical Islamic Fundamentalist Center in Washinton D.C. on June 27, 2007. In a complete punch in the gut of Israel and Christians, Bush had this to say about the radical Islamics that run this center devoted to beliefs hostile to America , Israel and Christianity:

"THE PRESIDENT: Imam, thank you very much. Thank you for inviting me. I bring my personal respect to you, sir. And I appreciate your friendship. I do want to thank the governors of the Islamic Center. I welcome the Ambassadors. Thank you all for coming. I appreciate other distinguished guests who are here. It is an honor to join you at this rededication ceremony."

It got worse as the president said this:
"We come to express our appreciation for a faith that has enriched civilization for centuries. We come in celebration of America 's diversity of faith and our unity as free people. And we hold in our hearts the ancient wisdom of the great Muslim poet, Rumi: "The lamps are different, but the light is the same."

(JHReport) A left-leaning radio station in San Diego, California is now under investigation for allowing a homosexual caller to issue a death threat on the air against a prominent Christian activist. The Stacy Taylor Show is broadcast Monday thru Friday on KLSD 1360am in San Diego, California. Taylor, who allows his program to be a launching pad for regular attacks against Christians, conservatives and other advocates of traditional family values, has earned a notorious reputation for his anti-christian bigotry. Despite Taylor's constant demands for free-speech in America, he apparently does not believe such freedoms should be easily extended to those of opposing views.

During a June 28, 2007 program, the Stacy Taylor Show focused on San Diego Christians who are protesting a gay pride event being held during a July 8th San Diego Padres baseball game at Petco Park. The gay pride event was scheduled during a previously booked children's free floppy cap giveaway at Petco Park. Christians from around America have expressed outrage over efforts by the Padres to allow thousands of pre-teen children to be exposed to homosexuality, lesbianism and transsexualism during the July 8th game.

While the attacks against Christian beliefs have oftentimes been a trademark of the Stacy Taylor Show, even some moderate political advocates were shocked to hear the attacks of one gay caller during the June 28th Stacy Taylor Show. The caller's death threat was issued against prominent San Diego Christian activist and San Diego City Council candidate James Hartline.

Hartline, who has earned a national reputation for advocating for the protection of children from pornography, became a born-again Christian eight years ago after a thirty-year involvement in the homosexual lifestyle. Hartline now produces an online newsletter to educate Christians on the destructive aspects of homosexuality and the gay agenda. In 2005, Hartline reported to the public that a number of sex offenders were supervisors of that year's San Diego Gay Pride festival and parade. One of the sex offenders was hired to work as a clown in the San Diego Gay Pride Festival Children's Garden.

With over seven years of public activism under his belt, James Hartline has been the focus of great hostility by supporters of the homosexual movement. On a number of occasions he has been physically assaulted, spit on and threatened with death by gay activists.

During the second hour of Taylor's June 28th program, a caller calling himself "Sister Iona" was allowed to speak for several minutes on the air. Revealing that he was gay, "Sister Iona" repeatedly mocked Hartline, saying that Hartline was bitter because he had AIDS. There is a Sister Iona featured on the radical San Diego homosexual website, Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Police Investigators are being provided with that information.

"Sister Iona's" mockery soon took on a violent tone as the caller revealed that he lives directly across the street from Hartline and that he is highly offended that he is forced to look at the well-known Christian activist. Also revealing that he regularly monitors Hartline, the caller then stated: "I see him at the post office. I want to run him over."

This is not the first time that gays in San Diego have issued death threats against Hartline. In fact, a number of those threats have been detailed in national news reports. In 2005, a popular San Diego lesbian website called Hillquest allowed a writer to publish a death threat against Hartline. The writer of that threat called for the elimination of Hartline. That threat was followed by another one made via a telephone call to Hartline's home by a former judge in San Diego. For a nearly a year, the San Diego City Attorney's office investigated that threat before declining to press charges against the judge.

What makes the current threat to run over Hartline, presumbly with a car, so outrageous, is that show host Stacy Taylor allowed the attacks on Hartline to continue on the air for several minutes. While Taylor uses his radio show to constantly rant about free speech issues, he obviously has an extremist anti-christian bias that led him to provoke the hate-based attacks against Hartline and other San Diego Christians.

Copies of the June 28th show have been sent to the San Diego Police Department for possible criminal charges against the caller. Robert Sutton, one of James Hartline's attorneys has also reviewed the tape and is very concerned about the threat issued against his client. (JHReport) What started out as a local protest against the San Diego Padres has now grown into a nationwide boycott against the national league's top baseball team. At the center of this growing controversy is an outrageous attempt by the San Diego Padres to hold a homosexual celebration at the same time that the team is inviting children into Petco Park for a free floppy cap giveaway.

According to a number of gay media sources the San Diego Padres be will honoring the San Diego Gay Pride organization during a July 8th game with the Atlanta Braves. As part of that celebration of homosexuality, the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus will sing the national anthem. In their current edition of the Gay and Lesbian Times, the weekly periodical stated this about the Padres involvement with the homosexual celebration:

San Diego Pride presents “Out at the Park” with the Padres
San Diego LGBT Pride has teamed up with the San Diego Padres to present a game event that gives recognition to participants and volunteers of Pride, as well as the Gay Men’s Chorus of San Diego, which will sing the national anthem at the game.
“Out at the Park” begins at 5:05 p.m., Sunday, July 8, at PETCO Park, where the Padres will take on the Atlanta Braves. Discounted tickets have been made available to the GLBT community on Pride’s Web site, www.sandiegopride.org, and by entering the promo code “PRIDE.”

One Christian father who contacted the team management told JHReport that the Padres communications director continues to deny any overt involvement by the team in the homosexual event. All homosexual sources continue to counter the Padres "spin" on the team's role in the gay pride celebration. It is clear from gay pride sources that the Padres are playing a significant partnering role in the gay pride event at Petco Park. Clearly, the Padres know that kids will be exposed to the radical elements of the homosexual movement when they come in for their free floppy caps.

What began as a few angry parents in San Diego, has now turned into a major blunder on the part of the political powerbrokers within the Padres administrative offices. However, the Padres are not backing down. They are choosing the side of homosexuality over the protection of kids, as well as the rights of parents to choose when they teach their kids about sexuality. Parents at the July 8th game will be forced to explain homosexuality, lesbianism and transsexuality to their little boys and little girls because of the celebration of gay pride during the Braves-Padres game.

The angry parents are not backing down either. Dozens of major Christian ministries from around the United States are joining San Diego parents to sponsor a rally at Petco Park to protest the Padres Gay Pride event. The July 8th rally will be held in the front of Petco Park. Rally organizer James Hartline hopes that educational flyers being distributed to families coming to the ballpark will discourage parents from bringing their children inside of the stadium where they will be exposed to radical elements of the homosexual movement. Rally sponsorer Scott Lively, President of Defend the Family International, hopes that the Christian response to the gay pride celebration at Petco Park will serve as a catalyst for awakening parental responsibility in a very sexualized culture.

Event Could Lead To Major Spiritual Awakening In Troubled Downtown San Diego

Hundreds of Christians are expected to attend the Christian protest at Petco Park. Calling it the "Save Our Kids" Rally, Hartline expects his event to have a positive impact on the youth of San Diego. Joining Hartline during the rally will be some of San Diego's most recognized Christian ministries. Set Free Ministries and The Training Center, two highly effective Christian rehabilitation programs, will be sending in large street teams to help with prayer, street evangelism and one-on-one encounters with parents and their children during the rally.

Earlier reports of a growing boycott of the July 8th game by Petco Park Concession Stand Workers are motivating Christian ministries from around America to help sponsor the July 8th rally. America Asleep Know More and C.R.A.V.E. (Christians Reviving America's Values) are two of the more than thirty national groups that are providing moral, financial and logistical support to the San Diego Christians who are making their stand on behalf of their community's youth. Don Swarthout, President of C.R.A.V.E., recently told Hartline, "We may be all the way out in Kentucky, but we are proudly standing with you all in San Diego to make sure that all of our kids are protected and America is a better place for them."

Mike Farmer, a local San Diego father and active San Diego Padres fan, is engaging the Padres team management over the gay pride event. Farmer, who is very involved with being a good role model for his own son, felt that he could not abandon other kids to be exposed to homosexuality during the July 8th game. "I have been going to Padres games for many years and I had to let them know that I think it is wrong to expose kids coming to a baseball game with sexual images that are a routine part of the gay pride celebrations," said Farmer.

Mike Farmer and Don Swarthout are not alone in their concern over what the Padres intend to do to the kids of San Diego on July 8th. Dennis Martinez, pastor of The Training Center in Spring Valley, California, tells JHReport that his ministry has decided to join in the protest on July 8th by having his employees walk off of their concession stand jobs that day because of the homosexual celebration in front of the kids at the stadium.

The Training Center employs 12 concession stand workers at Petco Park during the regular baseball season. Like Set Free Ministries, which has 40 concession stand workers at the stadium, The Training Center receives a sizeable amount of their program revenue from the Petco Park jobs. Martinez and his workers will be making an incredible financial sacrifice so that the youth of San Diego will know that they are not being abandoned to the gay pride partygoers.

The two ministries of Set Free and The Training Center provide a total of 52 employees for the concession stands at Petco Park. There could not be a bigger moral statement in this entire anti-child debacle than the stand that Set Free and The Training Center are making for the kids of San Diego. Set Free Ministries partners with the Canning Hunger Organization to contract with ARAMARK to provide labor services for concession stands at various sporting and special events in and around San Diego County. These particular 52 concession stand workers don't have much in this life, but what little they have they are sacrificing on behalf of the thousands of kids who will be exposed to homosexuality, lesbianism and transsexuality during the San Diego Padres Gay Pride celebration.

"We will not abandon these kids to the destruction of homosexuality," says Dennis Martinez, a former national skateboard champion. A committed Christian and well-respected minister among America's troubled youth, Martinez decided that he could not allow his ministry or its employees to compromise their commitment to Christ. The Training Center, as well as Set Free Ministries, will be among the estimated 200-300 Christians attending the rally outside of Petco Park on July 8th.

Some things are more important than jobs, money and sports. For Dennis Martinez, Set Free Ministry leader J. D. Loveland and rally coordinator James Hartline, the protection of the next generation is far and above more important than being entertained by the San Diego Padres. The stand that these three Christian leaders are making on July 8th proves that they have their priorities in correct order. The same cannot be said for the Padres or the San Diego Gay Pride partygoers.

California Superintendent of Public Instruction Promoting Pornographic Event With Department of Education Letterhead

(JHReport) Outrage is spreading rapidly among parents with young children in California's public school system after it was learned that California's State Superintendent of Public Instruction has used his official government letterhead to endorse a porn-filled San Diego Gay Pride event. Jack O'Connell, the Superintendent of Public Instruction, was elected to his second four-year term on June 6, 2006 as the state's top educator for all elementary and secondary public schools in California. O'Connell's letter, addressed to the San Diego Gay Pride organization, is on official letterhead from the California Department of Education and is currently displayed on the gay pride website.

Charged with the responsibility to be the chief spokesman for California's public schools, O'Connell plays one of the most significant roles in the lives of millions of small children in America's most populated state. Using public funds to send out a letter to endorse an event that features xxx pornography, an explicit S & M leather sex venue, and the distribution of condoms and lubricants used in anal intercourse, demonstrates that Superintendent O'Connell should now be considered one of the most dangerous men in all of California.

In 2005, the San Diego Gay Pride organization was embroiled in an outrageous national controversy when it was learned that the group had hired numerous sex offenders to work in various supervisory capacities during the local gay pride parade and festival. One of those employed by the San Diego Gay Pride organization during their 2005 event was Martin Ramirez, aka Marty the Clown. Ramirez, a registered pedophile, was hired to work in the San Diego Gay Pride Festival Children's Garden.

Following on the heels of the 2005 sex offender scandal was another San Diego Gay Pride debacle that horrified parents throughout America. In 2006, numerous small children were marched in the San Diego Gay Pride Parade under the banner of a local elementary charter school. The 2006 parade, which allowed the marching elementary school-age children, featured a male escort service called RentBoy, multiple pornographic businesses, exotic male dancers and male transvestites who dressed up as Catholic Nuns.

Jack O'Connell's letter, which not only endorses the porn-filled San Diego Gay Pride Festival, but also states the superintendent's support for the pornographic activities of the 2007 event. O'Connell's letter states:

"My strong commitment to furthering respect for all people in our schools
and communities is bolstered by these events, and I wish you great and
continued success with this year's festival and all future ventures."

O'Connell's letter includes a shocking display of disrespect for families who are doing everything possible to protect their children from child molesters, the pornography industry, and sexually transmitted diseases. Also included in the San Diego Gay Pride events are the pride parties. These types of parties have a notorious reputation for illegal drug use and high risk sexual behaviors. Powerhouse Productions, which produces the San Diego Gay Pride parties, features xxx gay porn stars on their advertisements for the events. One of the San Diego Gay Pride party ads features a completely nude male on the Powerhouse Production website. One of the gay pride parties will be held at the San Diego Zoo at the same time that a multitude of families with children will be visiting the zoo.

Added to the negative reaction to O'Connell's letter is a recent article in the Gay and Lesbian Times that details plans by the San Diego Gay Pride organization to add even more explicit adult entertainment during their 2007 festival. The O'Connell-endorsed festival will include a venue called "The Leather Realm" where men and women demonstrate "classes" on sado-masochism. Last year, the Leather Realm featured nauseating demonstrations on how to do flesh piercing for sexual gratification. Jack O'Connell's letter further dismays parents by stating:

"I am truly honored to recognize an endeavor that promotes equality and respect
in our communities."

Not everyone is sitting on the sidelines and accepting Superintendent O'Connell's use of public funds to issue a letter promoting the sexually explicit degradation of the San Diego Gay Pride event. Priscilla Schreiber, President of the Grossmont Unified High School District Governing Board, had this to say about O'Connell's letter:

"As a school boardmember who cares about academics and the success of all
students, I want to know how Mr. O'Connell's letter has anything to do
with Public Education and Instruction? I am outraged that a person in this
high-ranking elected position would advocate an event where diversity
is not just being celebrated, but where pornography and indecent exposure
is being perpetrated on the young and innocent children of our communities."

Mrs. Schreiber, a two-term elected boardmember of one of the largest school district's in San Diego County, hammered home her opposition to O'Connell using his public office to promote an event that exposes school children to pornography by stating:

"It appears that the State Superintendent of Public Instruction has unfortunately
decided to stand with those who are choosing to use the demand for equality
as a means for abusing the right without showing any responsibility
that comes with equality."

In previous years, there was not much public opposition to the San Diego Gay Pride events where children were routinely exposed to pornography. This was attributed to the lack of information that the public was receiving about the events. Now that parents are much more informed about the extent in which the San Diego Gay Pride organization is allowing children to be degraded and exposed to xxx pornographic businesses, there is a greater public outcry against the organization and its activities.

This year, there are a number of groups planning public demonstrations against the organization and the City of San Diego for allowing the gay pride group to expose minors to sexually explicit products and behaviors. Outrage over Superintendent O'Connell's letter is just a portion of the growing anger that Californians are beginning to manifest over the gay pride political movement.

The Abomination and Hypocrisy of Political Prostitute Lou Sheldon

The real political devil, Lou Sheldon, is finally showing his really greedy hand. In 2006, Sheldon sent his staffer, Ben Lopez, to work for pro-abortion Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, to lure Christians into supporting the anti-christian Schwarzenegger's campaign.

However, there is now an even darker and more repugnant move on Sheldon's part. AFA is now reporting that Sheldon will be helping to co-chair Mitt Romney's campaign. Sheldon, a true political prostitute, says:

Lou Sheldon, a well-known evangelical Presbyterian minister and conservative lobbyist in Washington, is endorsing former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination.
Sheldon, the outspoken chairman of the Traditional Values Coalition, has agreed to serve as one of the co-chairs of the "Romney for President Faith and Values Steering Committee." Sheldon says he has met with Governor Romney on a number of occasions since October of last year, and has been impressed with the governor's "intelligent" positions on the issues and his relationship with his wife Ann.
According to Sheldon, Romney's Mormon faith should not be a hindrance to Christian voters.
"He reads the Bible regularly. He has said -- and I asked him -- that he has received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior," the pastor declares. "He believes that Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, only Son of God divine, and was crucified, buried and raised from the dead for our behalf. So, I think as he addresses those issues, that's certainly going to ignite good feeling [among Christians]."
Sheldon says Romney has "an across the board appeal" to evangelical conservatives, business, and the average American worker. "He's not running for the head of any ministeriam or denomination or the pope -- he's running for a secular office that is called for for secular issues," explains Sheldon. "And he has, I think, the moral and ethical basis to be a strong conservative in that office."
Sheldon says three Republican presidential candidates who are currently in Congress are good friends of his, but it would be impractical to endorse one of them because winning the White House requires a lot of money and a large, experienced staff like Romney has.
Sheldon also praises Romney for his "market-driven" healthcare plan in Massachusetts and credits him with "pulling the state out of a $3 billion deficit."
Members of Romney's "Faith and Values Steering Committee" include attorney Jay Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice; David French, senior counsel with Alliance Defense Fund; Pastor Don Hutchings with Evangel Temple Assembly of God (Fort Smith, Arkansas); and DeMoss Group Public Relations president Mark DeMoss.

Sheldon has been busted for taking money from Jack Abramoff in a scheme for gambling, accused numerous times of selling his mailing list like a prostitute would sell her well-used body and now his vile sell out of the God he makes a living off of.

What will Sheldon say to the Lord on the day that he must give an account for his continiuing to be a political prostitute after he signed up to be a minister? Does Sheldon apply burn cream on his feet? For I think that his feet are already on fire from the flames of hell.

(JHReport) The Director of Development for a non-profit charity that oversees forty concession stand workers at Petco Park has announced that all of their workers will be walking off of their jobs on July 8, 2007 to protest a gay pride event being promoted by the San Diego Padres. The non-profit charity, Set Free Ministries, is located in El Cajon, California. J. D. Loveland, Director of Development for Set Free Ministries, expressed anger and frustration that the San Diego Padres are allowing a radical homosexual event at the stadium on the same day that the team had already planned a July 8th free children's floppy cap giveaway.

Set Free Ministries partners with the Canning Hunger Organization to contract with ARAMARK to provide labor services for concession stands at various sporting and special events in and around San Diego County. One of the contracts that Set Free Ministries has is to provide workers for a number of Petco Park concession stands during the San Diego Padres' eighty home games. The current number of Set Free Ministry workers at the Petco Park concession stands is forty.

With the announcement that thousands of small children will be intentionally exposed to homosexuality, lesbianism and transsexuality during the July 8th Padres game, Set Free Ministries was faced with a true moral dilemma. Would their ministry's concession workers remain silent in the face of this terrible sexual indoctrination of San Diego's youth? Or would they respond in a way that would actually tell these kids that there are men and women who will not abandon them to those who want to pull them into the destructive homosexual lifestyle?

J. D. Loveland has told the James Hartline Report that his staff polled all of the ministry's clients about the San Diego Padres-Gay Pride event. "We asked our men and woman if they would be willing to bring their kids to Petco Park if they knew that their kids would be exposed to the San Diego Gay Pride event. Every single one of our clients said they would not. The vote was unanimous to walk off of the job on July 8th rather than be a part of the gay pride event at the stadium," explained Loveland.

Pastor Loveland stated in a June 13th email to the James Hartline Report:

"Well, today we counted the cost and we have decided that it's one thing
to preach moral integrity, but it's another thing to really put your money
where your mouth is."

To say that the men and women of Set Free Ministries are counting the cost by walking off of their jobs on July 8th is truly an understatement. Many of the men and women at Set Free Ministries have fought brave battles to overcome drug abuse, psychological problems, prostitution, and homelessness. After completing 3-6 months of intensive rehabilitation at this Biblically-based 501(c)3 ministry, the men and women of Set Free Ministries are then allowed to work in one of the concession stands as part of their new lives in Jesus Christ. For these individuals, as well as the ministry itself, the jobs at Petco Park are incredibly important. The fact that these courageous citizens are willing to walk off of their jobs to stand up for the protection of thousands of kids is one of the most powerful statements by Christians anywhere in America.

The clients at Set Free Ministries have very little in this life. With little or no money, and struggling to overcome their troubled pasts, walking off of a job that means everything to them, was not an insignificant decision for the clients. However, compared to the major American corporations who are partnering with the pornographic San Diego Gay Pride Parade and Festival, the men and women of Set Free Ministries are real moral giants. In fact, the men and women of Set Free Ministries have courageously demonstrated that they are the best that America has to offer in this generation.

The financial price that Set Free Ministries will be paying on July 8th will be a heavy one for the organization. 90% of all the income that comes into Set Free Ministries is from the concession stand contracts. The ministry will lose $1,860 when it walks off of the job on July 8th. Additionally, the ministry could be fined a total of $4,000 due to the protest. The Set Free Ministry Organization could be fined $100 for every employee that does not show up at Petco Park on July 8th. That would make the loss to Set Free Ministries a staggering $5,860 for standing up for Biblical values.

Of the ministry's concession workers who will be walking off their jobs on July 8th, none will be standing taller than Set Free's women. J. D. Loveland says that one of the ministry's homes for women is completely dependent on the money brought in from the concession stand contracts. "100% of the income that it takes to run this particular home for our ladies comes from the work they do at the concession stands. These women are giving up everything on July 8th, including the little bit of money that they make at Petco Park, so that they can help protect the children of San Diego from being exposed to homosexuality," says Loveland.

If there was any doubt about how the men and women at Set Free Ministries are being changed through their one-year residency at the program, then take a look at some of the testimonies displayed on the group's website. From Angela Robles, a 21 year-old mother and former methamphetamine addict, to David House, a former alcoholic with 31 DWI arrests, Set Free Ministries is truly setting men and women free from some of the most difficult spiritual bondages known to mankind. The ministry's testimonial list even includes former San Diego Police Officer Karen Houll. After Officer Houll was forced to retire due to a head injury, Set Free Ministries received her with love and open arms.

While many wealthy San Diegans have expensive homes, cars and big bank accounts, the members of Set Free Ministries can only hope that their employment at the Petco Park concession stands will allow them fresh starts in society. The one characteristic that Set Free Ministry is clearly demonstrating through their actions on July 8th is courage: the courage to sacrifice their all. The courage to prove that these men and women have learned from their mistakes. The courage to make sure that the youth of San Diego don't ever go down the same path of degradation that the men and women of Set Free Ministries have already experienced.

James Hartline, a Christian activist and self-professed former homosexual is running for a City Council seat in San Diego currently held by a lesbian.

James Hartline, who says he went through a dramatic Christian conversion seven years ago, has been on the front lines of many local battles against homosexual activism, speaking out on the dangers of the "gay lifestyle."

He has told of his conversion in both secular and religious media outlets around the country, including Pat Robertson's "700 Club."

Hartline is vying for a seat that will open after current council member Toni Atkins' term expires in 2008. Council members in San Diego are limited by law to two terms.

Hartline says he now rejects a life of drugs and reckless sexual encounters that is being "replayed over and over again in gay communities and their sex clubs throughout America."

The Third District, where Hartline is running, includes the Hillcrest community, known for its large homosexual population. The last two City Council members from the district are both well-known lesbian Democrats.

Hartline recognizes his campaign will face strong competition from a powerful homosexual lobby in the district. He will run as a Republican in the June 2008 primary.

Hartline said in a statement he is entering the race to "change the politics-as-usual treadmill that is drowning out the will of the people in not only the district but the city of San Diego as well."

His campaign team will include legislative analyst Beverly Wyer, attorney Robert Sutton and financial investor Chuck Stout.

Hartline's announcement caused a stir in the local homosexual media, including the Gay and Lesbian Times, which expressed its concern about Hartline running for a seat traditionally held by homosexual activists.

Hartline's activism includes publicly exposing several registered pedophiles who were actively involved with the annual "gay pride" parade. He worked with the city attorney's office to alert authorities of blatant sexual activity in a local homosexual bathhouse, which closed its doors in April.

Hartline has also informed the public of several local porn bookstores located close to churches and schools. He was also featured in a March 2007 WND story on the involvement of middle school students in the annual "gay pride" parade.

He also has helped draw attention to the effort to save the landmark San Diego cross under threat from a lawsuit brought by an atheist.

(JHReport) Hundreds of San Diego families are expressing outrage with their city's professional baseball team after it was revealed that the San Diego Padres are planning to celebrate San Diego Gay Pride at their home stadium on the same day that the team is promoting a children's free floppy cap giveaway.

According to the San Diego Padres' website, children 14 and under will receive a free floppy cap when they attend the Padres game vs. the Atlanta Braves at Petco Park on July 8, 2007. The Padres website describes in detail the free promotional event which is designed to bring families and their pre-teen kids to the ballpark:

While the Padres are potentially luring thousands of pre-teens into the stadium for the free giveaway, the Padres organization is also engaged in promoting a radicalized homosexual event on the same day in the ballpark. This will cause familes and their children to cross paths with one of the most notorious homosexual organizations in the United States. With transvestites and transsexuals running about, many children will have a hard time telling the padres from the madres during this July 8th anti-family fiasco.

Make no mistake about it, the Padres are intentionally partnering with the San Diego Gay Pride organization for a gay pride celebration at the exact same time that they are luring thousands of families and their pre-teen children into the ballpark for the free floppy cap giveaway. Here is what the Padres website states regarding the homosexual event occuring at the ballpark at the same time as the free kids floppy cap giveaway:

"Celebrate Pride with the San Diego Padres. This is an opportunity to celebrate LGBT Pride while enjoying a night of fun, baseball, and recognition for the San Diego LGBT community. San Diego Pride supporters and volunteers will be recognized as well as the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus who will sing the National Anthem on Sunday, July 8 at the San Diego Padres game at PETCO Park in the heart of downtown San Diego."

The James Hartline Report has received dozens of emails from parents who are indicating that they will be boycotting the game on July 8th. Included in those emails were the ridiculous emails from the Padres Communications Director Tim Katzman. Some longtime Padres' season ticket holders are even indicating that they will not be returning to Petco Park ever again because the team is holding the children's free floppy cap giveaway at the same time that it is celebrating and promoting homosexuality.

Included in the homosexual event that the children will be exposed to during the July 8th game will be the singing of the national anthem by the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus. The San Diego Gay Men's Chorus is no stranger to controversy either. In 2003, the Joan Kroc Salvation Army Center refused to allow the Gay Men's Chorus of San Diego to perform at its facility when it was learned that some of the men might perform while dressing up as women. Many fathers who regularly take their sons to Padres' games have told the James Hartline Report that they are incensed that their religious values are being violated by the team. Christians do have a reasonable expectation when coming to a baseball game that their kids will not be exposed to overt homosexual activism in violation of their religious beliefs.

Parents have reason to be concerned about their children being exposed to any events involving the San Diego Gay Pride organization. In 2005, the San Diego Gay Pride organization was caught up in a national firestorm of controversy after it was learned that group had hired a number of registered sex offenders to work in various capacities during their annual gay pride celebration. One of those pedophiles, Martin Ramirez, was hired by San Diego Gay Pride to work as a clown in the organization's festival children's garden.

Since the 2005 sex offender scandal, the San Diego Gay Pride organization has continued to include xxx gay pornographers, male escort services and male transvestites who dress up as nuns in its annual event. In 2006, an elementary charter school marched numerous small children in the San Diego Gay Pride Parade. During the 2006 parade, a photographer documented a man who was almost completely naked handing out candy along the parade route to very young minors.

Moms and dads who bring their children to the park on July 8th will have more to explain to their pre-teen sons and daughters than just homeruns and strikeouts. These parents will also have to explain why the Padres announcer will be introducing a homosexual group to sing the national anthem. "Daddy, why are those two men kissing each other?" five year-old Johnny will ask his father. "Mommy, why is that woman trying to grow a beard?" Sally will hear her confused daughter ask.

The Padres did not tell the voters when they pleaded with hardworking voters to approve spending millions of dollars in public funds to build Petco Park, that the stadium would then be used to lure children into the facility and intentionally exposed to a radical homosexual activist group.

The Padres, for their part, are not being kind to the many season ticket holders who have contacted the organization over the gay pride celebration at the park. Tim Katzman, Director of Corporate Communications for the San Diego Padres, has been bombarded with complaints from angry parents and longtime season ticket holders. One of those angry parents is Mike Farmer. Farmer, who has been going to Padres games since they came into the league years ago, wrote Katzman:

"This is a very slippery slope, and I hope you and (team owner) Mr. Moores
will reconsider your position. If you two want to hold hands and ride in the
gay pride parade, go right ahead. But please don't bring this filth into a
stadium that I helped pay for and in front of a team that I have spent
thousands of dollars supporting over the years. I would sure like to know
how some of the players with moral convictions feel about this travesty,
i.e. Jake Peavey, Khalil Greene, etc."

Mike Farmer's letter to Tim Katzman was typical of dozens of emails sent by upset Padres fans. Katzman, for his part, has not been helpful or forthright, in his responses. Katzman told the James Hartline Report in an email:

"Please understand that by having the San Diego (Gay) Pride attend a Padres game
and having a sub-set of that group sing the National Anthem does not suggest
that our organization endorses any particular lifestyle or sexual preference."

Really? That is not what the Padres website says in relation to its promotion of the San Diego Gay Pride event at the stadium on July 8, 2007. Clearly, when the Padres website uses the terms, celebrate and recognize, in its invitation to participate in the gay pride event at the ballpark, they are endorsing the homosexual lifestyle. Read again the following statement on the Padres' website:

"Celebrate (Gay) Pride with the San Diego Padres. This is an opportunity to celebrate LGBT Pride while enjoying a night of fun, baseball, and recognition for the San Diego LGBT community."

Upon further scrutiny, there appears to be other major discrepencies in Mr. Katzman's explanation for the Padres allowing a homosexual men's group to sing the national anthem in front of families at the ballpark. Katzman stated in his email to the James Hartline Report:

"For the game on July 8th against the Atlanta Braves, our ticket sales staff
was approached by a representative of the San Diego (Gay) Pride, seeking
to organize a trip to the ballpark. For what we could gather at that time,
this was nothing more than a group sale..... When a group sale eclipes
a certain level in ticket allocation and sales, one of the benefits offered is
for that group to present, sing or play the National Anthem prior to the
first pitch -- with the caveat that the group's audition passes muster with
our Entertainment Department in advance."

The San Diego Gay Men's Chorus is a totally separate organization from the San Diego Gay Pride group. Both groups are involved with those who are attempting to legalize same-sex marriage in California. However, each is a separate entity. Thus, it is not the San Diego Gay Pride organization that is singing the national anthem, but the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus. The Padres policy is not playing out in this situation. Clearly, a homosexual group was chosen to sing the national anthem and they were booked on the same day that thousands of children are going to be lured into the stadium with the free floppy cap giveaway.

Why would the Padres risk destroying its reputation with the millions of families in San Diego County, all over the celebration of a homosexual event that has in recent years been marked by a sex offender scandal? Perhaps, it is a test for the wealthy Padres players who claim to be born-again Christians. Will these players stand up for their faith or will they cower behind a political correctness to save their million-dollar paychecks? Indeed, this may also be a test for the thousands of Christians who regularly go to Petco Park to be entertained. They too, are in a test to decide what their faith means in a tortured culture. Will these same Christians, who claim a faith behind the four walls of their homes and large churches, be willing to stop going to Padres games in protest of this blatant indoctrination of pre-teens into accepting the homosexual lifestyle at Petco Park?

Former homosexual runs for San Diego Council seat long held by ‘gay activists’

James Hartline, a self professed ‘Christian activist’, has announced he is running for the City council seat in San Diego’s third district. The seat comes open after current council member (Toni Atkin’s) term expires in 2008. (City council members in San Diego, CA. are limited, by law, to 2 terms in office.)

Hartline is a former homosexual who underwent a dramatic religious conversion seven years ago. He has turned from a life of drugs and reckless sexual encounters which he now totally rejects. Hartline says that unfortunately that type of reckless lifestyle is being “replayed over and over again in gay communities and their sex clubs throughout America.”

Mr. Hartline has been on the forefront of many local battles in an effort to inform the public of the dangers of the gay lifestyle. His dramatic conversion has been told in both secular and religious media outlets around the country, including the Family Channel’s ‘700 club.’

The Third District (where Hartline is running) includes Burlingame, City Heights, Hillcrest, Kensington, Mid-City, North Park, South Park, University Heights, Golden Hill and all of Balboa Park. It’s well known that the Hill-crest community has a large gay population. The last two City Council members from District 3 are both well known lesbian politicians.

Hartline recognizes that his campaign will face stiff competition from a strong gay lobby in the District. Both prior lesbian council members (Kuehl and Atkins) are both registered Democrats. Hartline will be running as a Republican in the primary which takes place next June (2008).

Hartline’s announcement has caused quite a stir in the local gay media. The Gay and Lesbian Times has expressed its concern about Hartline’s run for
an office that traditionally has been held by local gay activists. Hartline was responsible for informing the public of several registered pedophiles who were actively involved with the annual gay parade. He worked with the City Attorney’s office to alert them of blatant sexual activity in a local gay bathhouse. That bathhouse has since closed its doors this April.

Hartline has also informed the public of several local porn/adult book store operations that were particularly close to churches and schools (making their location questionable because of local zoning regulations). He was also featured in a March 2007 World Net Daily story that reported on a middle school children’s involvement in the local gay pride parade held each year in the city. Additionally, Hartline has helped draw public attention to preserving a local religious landmark that was in danger of being removed by a local atheist. Conservatives speculate that it’s no wonder why liberal elements in the city are alarmed to hear of that Mr. Hartline is running for public office.

Well, the taxpayers of this city are tired beyond fatigue, of having our city councilmembers vote to spend more public funds on more consultants who never do their job with the original contractual agreements. Take for example the recent debacle as described in the San Diego Union Tribune by Jennifer Vigil:

Council OKs spending increase for pension expert -May 2, 2007 - SAN DIEGO – Divided San Diego City Council members approved a $400,000 boost in spending yesterday for an expert hired by Mayor Jerry Sanders, though they chided Sanders and City Attorney Michael Aguirre for dramatically exceeding the original value of the deal.

The contract, with a pension specialist, was to be worth a little more than $200,000, but San Diego's chief financial officer, Jay Goldstone, told the council the city owes $618,000. Goldstone also sought more money to continue working with the expert.

What is the problem?

Our elected officials seem to forget that they are pubic servants. When we serve the public, we don't raid the bank account of the hard working taxpayers who put their money into the hands of the city council to spend on the betterment of our city. The endless paying out of millions upon millions of dollars to "consultants" who act more like prostitutes then they do public servants is a political and ethical abomination.

The solution begins with one simple premise. City Councilmembers must have strong ethical components to a strong moral foundation. Refusing to address one's own lack of morality, is at the heart of why our current city council continues to make decisions that rip off the hard working citizens of San Diego.

Good financial decisions are the result of strong moral convictions. Refusing to address the immorality in our city, as this city council has refused to do, is at the very core of why the constant financial missteps are a daily occurrence. You cannot leave out truth in one's own life and expect truth to prevail in one's public decisionmaking.

Take for example in City Council District 3: Toni Atkins, has been the city council representative for over six years. What was her previous job before she came to work at the city council office of Christine Kehoe and eventually became a city councilwoman herself? She managed abortion clinics. That was her job! And look at the constant corruption scandals that have surrounded Councilwoman Atkins since she has been on the city council. Her name has repeatedly been associated with pension scandal decisions. Councilwoman Atkins also took campaign contributions from those who were associated with the Cheetah's Bribery Scandal that cost three councilmembers their careers and one, sadly, died before going to trial.

It gets worse with this woman. Take for example, the gay pride scandal in 2005. When it was discovered that multiple sex offenders were working for the San Diego Gay Pride organization, including one pedophile who was hired to work as a clown in the children's garden, Councilwoman Atkins was encouraging families to still participate in the event: without any of the sex offenders having been removed from their jobs at that point!

While Councilwoman Atkins has been helping to build up the downtown redevelopment industry, the streets and businesses in her own district have been neglected over and over again. Crime is rampant in her district, yet Atkins continues to parade herself at city hall as an effective downtown leader. When members of her own district expressed outrage over the development of a massive building project on University Ave., Atkins sided with redevelopers and approved the project. Simply put, Councilwoman Atkins is out of touch with the vast majority of voters and hard working taxpayers in her district. And the current crop of Democratic replacement candidates for the District 3 race are all good friends of Atkins. More of the same foolish and troubling waste of the voters' time and energy!

We voters must step out and break from the current political destruction that is eroding District 3. Our District must become more than just a factory to turn out one-issue candidates. Voters need more than a city councilmember whose main platform is promoting homosexuality and lesbianism. We cannot continue to allow our council district to make that issue the main reason we elect people. Our district is breaking down because certain political powerbrokers are only concerned with the promotion of homosexuality. Everything else is a side dish for them.

I am going to fight for our people! We will no longer stand by and allow a few elite, money-hungry, power-grabbing, political hacks to control our district and our destinies.

Watch Out! James Hartline, our district's watchman on the wall, is rising up to contend for his people in District 3. I am the people's man! And I will never stop fighting for all of our district voters to have a place at city hall. James will make sure that kids are always protected. District 3 is home to hundreds of registered pedophiles and dangerous sex offenders. Moms and Dads must be alerted as to where these terrible individuals are located so that their kids are always safe. I have been at the forefront in our city and district during the last four years to stop pedophiles from harming our kids.

Our district's moms must always have the help they need during their pregnancies. The idea that our city council continues to spend millions of dollars on "consultants" while medical clinics cannot provide necessary medical care to uninsured pregnant mothers is a personification of moral bankruptcy.

There should not be one person fighting with HIV who is left homeless on the streets of Hillcrest. Hillcrest is home to many of the medical clinics that treat HIV/AIDS patients. That is why many HIV patients are attracted to the area. Yet, during Councilwoman Atkins' watch, Hillcrest has seen a steady increase of homeless HIV-infected men and women living on the streets. Many are alcoholics and drug addicts. Many buy their illegal drugs and alcohol in Hillcrest and North Park. As the district's councilman, I will work to make sure that there is new and affordable housing for every man, woman and child who is fighting HIV and AIDS. I will not tolerate leaving those who are sick to face a fearful future of dying on the streets of Hillcrest.

Liquor Stores in our district that continue to sell liquor to homeless drunks, who then go on to assault our citizens, must be held accountable! Our district's citizens deserve clean and safe streets. Those that are contributing to public drunkeness, rapes and robberies, will not be tolerated. Liquor stores must pay for the public drunkeness they are creating. All liquor stores should abide by a covenent with the city to stop selling individual bottles of beer to homeless drunks. A city-wide order for liquor stores to sell only six packs of beer will stop most of the homeless drunks from purchasing alcohol. This will create an immediate effect on the public drunkeness problem in our district and city. In turn, this will lessen the burden on our police officers who must spend a tremendous amount of their time contending with drunks rather than protecting our society from more serious criminals.

Our district must become a place where new, small businesses are both welcomed and prospered. We need the jobs for our people. There should never be undue tax burdens and skyrocketing rent placed upon the hopes and dreams of new business owners. Our district council representative must partner with a concept of encouraging business investment in the communities, rather than businesses moving out into the mega-shopping malls. Many storefronts in Hillcrest have been shuttered for years. Skyrocketing rents must not be the reason businesses move out of the area. Greed must be addressed. We cannot continue to be a culture that negates compassion for our younger generation who have the hope of starting a small business, only to see that hope shattered because of the greed of property owners.

Renters should not live with the constant fear that they will be forced into homelessness because of skyrocketing rents. Gas prices should not force moms to leave their kids at home because they cannot afford transportation. It is time that landlords and oil companies take a fresh approach to how they treat our people. We must reintroduce the concept of mercy and compassion when it comes to how overburdened families are treated in our city.

I know what it is like to be in poverty. I know what it is like to suffer. I have great empathy with those who are suffering in our culture. The problem with most elected officials is they don't understand the people who live in their respective districts. In reality, they have little, if anything, in common with the voters. I intend to change all of that! I fight for kids and moms and dads who want a better life for their families. I understand your difficulties for I have faced those same difficulties myself. And I have overcome those difficulties. Our citizens are looking for overcomers with fresh ideas and news ideals.

We don't need more millionaires at city hall. We don't need more greedy councilmembers at city hall. We don't need more corruption and bureaucratic madness at city hall. We don't need more anti-christian bigotry at city hall. What we need is a man who stands with the people because he is an overcomer. I am that man. I am James Hartline and I will not forget the people that have elected me to fight for them at city hall. Together we will overcome everything that is fighting against us to have a say in our own future!

Hartline said his campaign staff will include notable conservatives including analyst Beverly Wyer, attorney Robert Sutton, financial investor Chuck Stout and former Assembly candidate Kim Tran. "District 3 is home to dozens of large churches and thousands of Christian voters, but in the last 14 years, the concerns of those voters has been largely ignored by City Hall," he said.

The San Diego Gay Pride organization has earned a notorious reputation for exposing young minors to extremely graphic sexual elements of the homosexual movement. Parents bringing their children to the July 8th game are sure to be outraged when they learn that the park will be used to promote homosexuality instead of traditional family values.

In 2005, the San Diego Gay Pride organization was caught up in a national firestorm of controversy when it was learned that a network of sex offenders had been employed in various capacities within the organization (www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20050728/news_7m28pride.html). The annual gay parade features nearly nude male strippers, multiple adult porn companies, male escort services and male transvestites who dress up as Catholic Nuns.

According to the Gay and Lesbian Times, the San Diego Gay Pride organization plans to establish a "Freedom Zone" at this year's homosexual festival. The Freedom Zone will allow vendors with adult-oriented items and materials to fully display their merchandise. “Vendors who sell adult-oriented merchandise will be stationed in the Freedom Zone,” said Gay Pride executive director Ron deHarte. The Freedom Zone was created to serve the percentage of the adult homosexual population who want to see more adult-themed booths (www.gaylesbiantimes.com/?id=9288). "After partnering with the filth of San Diego Gay Pride, the Padres will now be permanently tagged with a very negative image," says San Diego Christian activist James Hartline.

The United States national anthem was written by Francis Scott Key after American military forces fought valiently all night to defend Fort McHenry from a British attack on September 13, 1814. Throughout America, the national anthem is now sung to honor the bravery of American soldiers on the battlefield. The military has made a determination that homosexuality and military service are incompatible. Thus, it will be a low blow for many military families when they learn that the Padres are promoting homosexuality by allowing the Gay Men's Chorus of San Diego to sing the national anthem to open the July 8th Padres-Braves game.

While professional baseball players are oftentimes seen as role models for young boys, parents will find no comfort in their sons being exposed to the immorality associated with the Gay Men's Chorus of San Diego (http://www.gmcsd.com/). Included in the group's current schedule of perfomances is "Diva by Diva" where the men will be singing tributes to Madonna, Bette Midler, and lesbian K. D. Lang. One of the sponsors of this particular chorus is IN Los Angeles Magazine, a homosexual periodical that features a multitude of pornographic ads for male prostitutes and xxx gay pornography. In 2003, the Joan Kroc Salvation Army Center refused to allow the Gay Men's Chorus of San Diego to perform at its facility when it was learned that some of the men might perform while dressing up as women (http://sandiegopride.org/91/Timeline.htm).

One outspoken conservative Republican has told the James Hartline Report that he thinks the Padres involvement with the San Diego Gay Pride "is a degrading episode for families with kids." He intends to make sure that San Diego families know about the event so that they can keep their kids away from the ballpark on July 8th.

Marriages and families are taking a real beating throughout America. Extremist advocates for legalizing same-sex marriage are some of the biggest sponsors of San Diego Gay Pride and the Gay Men's Chorus of San Diego. "By promoting these two groups at Petco Park, the San Diego Padres are sending the message that they could not care less about the importance of real families and real marriages," states pro-family advocate James Hartline.

In partnering with the gay pride organization for a homosexual day at the ballpark, the San Diego Padres are proving where they really stand when it comes to helping the youth of San Diego. According to San Diego Gay Pride executive director Ron deHarte: "This is a great way to celebrate (gay) pride while enjoying a fun night of baseball in the heart of downtown San Diego." Most San Diegans seriously disagree with deHarte's way of celebrating.
